1.Why Bass?

So originally I was a guitar player. In one of my old bands the bassist quit and I happened to have a cheap spare bass so I started playing bass in that band and fell in love with it.

2.Do you think it is unfair or just lack of knowledge bass gets so little credit?

Being a multi instrument musician I can say its definitely unfair! Great bass players are some of the best musicians on the planet!

3.What kind of bass do you use? Model , color , year , And why

Schecter stiletto extreme and a Schecter stiletto custom both active EMG pickups. I play Schecter basses because I happen to be left handed and they offer pretty much every model in left handed unlike most major manufacturers

4.Tell us about your amplification

I currently use a TC Electronic BH500 head through the matching TC 4x10 cab

5. With all of that being said do you feel tone is an important thing for bass?

Of course! Tone is what separates you from the rest of the band and other bassists and who wouldn't want their notes to be heard
6.Do you prefer 5 strings over 4 string?

For me I prefer traditional 4 string I can do everything I need and want to do with a 4 string and dont really have the need for a 5 string. Tho for lower tunings I do a trick on one of my basses where I bored the nut to fit a five string set and just throw away the smallest string

7.Who is your favorite bassist?

I would have to say John Myung of Dream Theater or Paolo Gregoletto of Trivium

8. Who is your least favorite bassist?

Nikki Sixx tho he is cool in his own right for sure but I'm probably the least impressed with him

9.Why do you think women seem to be attracted to playing bass?

No idea! I've seen women be badass at many instruments so I dont think it's just bass

10. What bassist dead or alive would you like a private lesson with?

Would love to have a lesson with John Myung

11. Bonus question
Bobby Doll , Nikki Sixx , Les Claypool , Billy Sheehan  which is more ridiculous and why?

Billy Sheehan is a crazy player
