1.Thanks for taking the time to talk to The Grinder! You have a new album out, Tell us about it!
Thanks for having us! We’re going to call our EP “Senseless” appropriately named for reasons you shall see.
2.Where was it recorded? Is all the material new?
All of it was actually recorded in our singers bedroom. Most of it is newly written, but some songs were sat on for a while.
3.What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one?
We’ve undergone a name change and line up change. At one time we were called Mop Head.
4.Are you signed to a label? , If so which one and how did they help or support the process?
Nope! As of now we have been on our own but we’ve met some awesome people that look out for bands along the way
5.What has been going on with the band between albums? Did you tour?
We had an awesome start up period as a band, our second show ever was Carolina Metalfest
6.Do you have any new members?
Chase brought in his brother Trey/Claude to play bass, allowing TJ to move up to guitar
7.Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album?
Chase did the recordings, Stephen from Ryparian will be assisting in the mixing
8.Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles , Did you have any strange studio practices?
Other than being stoned as hell with a good brew in hand I’d say we go about it in a pretty normal fashion.
9.Of course tell us where to pick up your album and how to learn more about you.
As of now you can find us on Reverbnation and YouTube. After final mix is released it will be on all the major platforms.
10.What is your plans now that the new album is out?
Of course work on new material and get even more songs, get a few good east coast tours in, and just see what new adventures we can get ourselves into.
