WELCOME HOME NO SUCH SEASON !!

*Note from the editor
When you see a Welcome home feature it is a band Metal Coffee picked because we believed they had what it took to go places and in Welcome home we are proud to welcome back bands we worked with that are now signed!! Congrats on your hard work!
We knew it all along!

U.A.F. is the first studio album from No Such Season and draws from the underground rock scene in Seattle, from where they lay their roots.  The album is an embodiment of stoney heavy groove, grunge rock that is edgy and gripping with a metal flair.  It is electric and powerful with an abrasiveness of being scraped across cement before being dragged through the mud and slapped across the face with reality.  The production features the voice of Aaron Sparks (lead vocals) delivering a punk rock edge to the music, the energizing guitar work with captivating hooks of Willem Coumou IV (guitar), the thunderous groove and silky bass tone from Daunish Chaudry (bass), and booming precision timekeeping provided by Chad Anderson (drums).  The album is about the human condition, leaving the interpretation to the listener.  ‘U.A.F’ is available on a physical CD, YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and all your favorite streaming services.
Influences for the album:
Kyuss, Tool, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Helmet, Queens of the Stone Age, Motorhead, Rush

BIO:
The history of the band began with the love for the music we used to listen to (and still do) that spelled out Seattle for the world audience; mixed with a fresh take on riffs, vocals, and creating an ambient rock party.  It is the type of music that you and your friend use to play in the garage – and give out tapes / CDs in front of your local record store.  The band’s origins started with Willem Coumou IV, freshly off a project called ‘ESITU’, Willem had the itch to keep playing music seeking to create something new and different.  In 2016, Willem reunited with Chad Anderson, former bandmate and drummer during their teenage years in ‘Dead Stare’.  The two began writing song ideas and looked for someone to play bass.  Through a mutual acquaintance, they met Daunish Chaudry, former bassist for ‘Straight Jacket Symphony’.  The chemistry between the three was right from the start, but the project still needed a vocalist.  Without a vocalist, the three opted to play shows as instrumental sets.  After their first show as an instrumental band, Aaron Sparks approached the band wanting to be the vocalist.  Aaron auditioned and thus No Such Season rose to the stage.
The first released recording of ‘No Such Season’, was their four song self-titled EP.  This EP hit the mark in giving the band that raw edgy sound that would carry them forward.  The EP is an incarnation of aggressive guitar riffs, powerful drumming with a solid bass foundation, and an overtone of punk rock vocals providing a captivating experience and introduction to the band’s sound.   During its’ initial release, the EP was well received in the underground rock scenes of Europe, the United States, and South America with internet radio stations helping to aid in planting the seeds for potential new fans and spread their name and signature sound.
Following upon the success of their self-titled EP, ‘No Such Season’ embarked on their journey to record their debut album and signed with Sliptrick Records for marketing and distribution of the album.  ‘U.A.F.’ is the first studio album from ‘No Such Season’ and draws from the underground rock scene in Seattle, from where they lay their roots.  The album is an embodiment of stoney heavy groove, grunge rock that is edgy and gripping with a metal flair.  It is electric and powerful with an abrasiveness of being scraped across cement before being dragged through the mud and slapped across the face with reality.  As ‘No Such Season’ continues to evolve, their live shows provide an amazing experience, blending sampling into their music and visual science fiction alien themes which has become something that must be seen.
