Hello everyone, we are Gigantomachia from the acropolis of Alatri (Italy) and we offer a melodic death metal with mythological themes. The band is formed by Lorenzo Barabba Suminier (bass), Alessandro Caponera (lead guitar), Nicola Frate (drums) and Davide Angelo Pietrantoni (vocals). The other place as a guitarist is wandering and we have undergone several line up changes.
2. Who does the majority of the writing? Is it a group thing or does someone handle the writing duties?
The composition of songs starts all from Alessandro, then with Nicola we build the base. Naturally then each of us makes his contribution. As far as the texts are concerned Barabba deals with it and then Davide adjusts everything.
3. Where is the band based out of ? Where did you want to the band to end up? What was the dream city to have as your home base once you got out of your scene?
The band comes from Barabba, a dream that comes true after years. At the moment we still have a long way to go, despite we already signed with the record label, Agoge Records and we participated in several Fests. We hope that in the future we can sail some big stage together with some famous band.
4. What is your genre? What bands do you use to explain to people what you sound like?
We propose a melodic death metal with influence both doom and epic.The texts instead deal with ancient legends and myths of ancient Greece.
5. Can we buy anything from you Cd's shirts etc and where can we buy them?

6. Do you have studio time lined up anything new coming soon?
Yes, we are preparing an official video, but at the moment we cannot say anything, we can just say that it will be on an unpublished piece
7. Have you ever been on tour? If so where and with who?
So far no tour, although for the new year we are looking for something interesting.
8. What is your favorite band? Who are the bands who influenced you?
Each of us has several favorite and influential bands. Davide loves Avenged Sevenfold, while Barabba is a cultist of brutal death. Nicola instead ranges from the Lacuna Coil to the Doors.
9. Do you have a website? And do I have to verify that I am 18 to enter it?
At the moment we do not have a site but you can look for us on all social networks, especially on Facebook and IG.
10. What about your music do you want people to remember? What is the quality you want to hit people when they hit play?
The sound must be like a slap in the first impact. People must remember melodies perfectly stuck in an aggressive song.
11. Name a person who is integral to your band that nobody knows about , what person drives your band like they are part of the band? Who is the extra member?
Our fans. They give life and soul to what we do. Without them we would be lost.
12. Tell nerds like me about your live rig and equipment.
Barabba uses an 800 watt Portaflex Ampeg head, a darkglass like distortion and a Yamaha 4 string bass tuned in dropD. Alessandro un'Ibanez 7 strings with bughera head and handcrafted pedals. Nicola all Ufip and Iron Cobra plates as a double pedal
13.What is your musical guilty pleasure that you are ashamed of?
Honestly? I have not.
14.If you could custom build a band who would be the members?
Barabba: I would enter as a bass player in Gojira! Hahahaha
