JOHN WOODSONS LEG ... YES SERIOUSLY NEW ALBUM INTERVIEW

1.Thanks for taking the time to talk to The Grinder! You have a new album out, Tell us about it!

To date we've dropped 2 albums ("Exit Inside" & "Even Further") and 2 singles ("Rightmare" & "The Stumbler"). We're excited to keep cutting tracks leading into our third album "Enter Divine".

2.Where was it recorded? Is all the material new?

So far we've recorded everything at Bullet Ride Productions in Fowler, KS. He does great work. He makes it hard to leave and go try elsewhere. So we haven't. We've been cutting tracks there from 2008 to present.

3.What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one?

I'm noticing the last two tracks have been more aggressive and relentless. But the third track feels more left field. So I think that's good. To constantly change.

4.Are you signed to a label? , If so which one and how did they help or support the process?

We've blanketed everything under our own label Iron Virus Records. So DIY is in full effect. Ironvirusrecords.com

5.What has been going on with the band between albums? Did you tour?

We do get busy playing shows. Which tends to stay pretty steady. We've recently built a site for John Woodson's Leg. Also we try and stay current with the latest music marketing.

6.Do you have any new members?

Nobody new as of late.

7.Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album?

So far it's Bullet Ride and JWL.

8.Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles , Did you have any strange studio practices?

So far I think it's been normal practices but really who is normal.

9.Of course tell us where to pick up your album and how to learn more about you.

We're not hard to find on social media and links to these are on our sites.
