REVIEW FROM HELL : PANTHEON

What’s great about making reviews, is that we can explore new bands and sounds. And this band is no exception. And who are these guys? They are members Arkansas Metal veterans Fallen Empire, Tangled in Ruin, Abandon the Artifice and Splattered in Traffic.
They play old school blackened death thrash metal with groove elements.
BJ Cook is at its best for sure.
“Awakening The Gods” has an awesome beat, that reminds of Amon Amarth. And the vocals are great. Johan Hegg is that you, with another project?
“Lust Of The Beast” is amazing, but the vocals sound completely different here compared to the other cuts for some reason. The song is generally more punk-infused, though it features blasts and groove moments.
“Age Of Wolves” is the most awesome track on this album, and they sound more Black Metal, than most bands. Guitar riffs and the voice will explain you why.
These guys know what they are doing and they’ve planned it well.
Let’s hope for a tour.
It was released by Necrotic Records, in July 2020.

Pantheon is
B.J. Cook- vocals, lead guitar
Buzzy Leistikow- vocals, guitar
Donnie Larkin- drums
Jeremiah Baker-bass
