RAKS REVIEWS : Falset – Review

This impressive band has what it takes. James LaBrie’s son (Chance LaBrie) and his mates made quite a remarkable album. “We Follow Or Lead The Way” will be released October 16th.

But why is that, you ask!

They’ve released several singles and videos. “Kingdom” was released this Friday (18th September) and what makes this song so amazing, is the futuristic sound in the intro, guitars and drums. Braeden Kozy is so talented. His growls are unexpected. It makes you want to go to a moshpit.

“Give” has an amazing beat. Sure Chance has done his work very well. Solos well played. Very modern and melodic. It is well suited for today’s trend.

Very creative, fresh and progressive leanings are rooted in modern metal (lunging rhythms, bass drops, synths) with flashes of technical guitar work.

Ten songs of hard work, lyrics that are sung from the heart and growls that will make you want to discover this dudes.

Is amazing how Zach Copeland can be sweet and hard, while singing. “Rock Bottom” has to be one of the best albums of this record. Here’s why: Zach Copeland vocals, Chance beats the drums very loudly, and Braeden Kozy and Riley Fields, can destroy even the hardest rock with their guitars and bass.

Are we saints? No, we aren’t, not even hollow. Try do discover by yourselves its meaning.

This album will be released 16th October and will make you like even more Progressive Metal. If you like this genre, go get a copy.

The record was produced by Copeland and mixed by Adam 'Nolly' Getgood (Periphery).
