On June 16, 2018, Blood of Angels won "Metal Group of the Year" Award at the 5th Annual International Entertainment and Music Awards.
The event took place at the Paramount Performing Arts Center in Ashland, KY. The International Music and Entertainment Awards honors the best in independent music and musical theater. This is Blood of Angels 5th award for the release of their debut album "Rise of the Fallen Gods." This follows the three wins for August 2017 Akademia Award, and their "Best Metal/Hardcore Song" award at the Independent Music Awards last March.
