Silent Machines Interview

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Silent Machines started in 2012 and was created by me Liam Golder after I was thinking of a new act idea which could be unique and exciting. I wanted to create a act that was completely different.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

The name means 'To Be Heard' it is acting as a voice to music that wants to be out there as far as possible.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are
there any local bands you could recommend?

The act is based in England near London. The music scene is hot so much talent. Yes could recommend a great band called Little Manitou they are really cool and very talented people with big hearts and great music. Can also recommend Jonathan Carr a talented singer, songwriter will loads of passion and high creativity, and The Twin Cams who possess awesome guitar playing, songwriting skills and lots of talent.

4. How would you describe your style?

It is certainly unique a mixture of rock and acoustic songs. It's a cocktail of light and dark music from real life experiences such as love, life, break ups, near death experiences, mental health, and overcoming barriers.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your
works?

My latest E.P is 'Radical Souvenirs' and it available online everywhere
such as itunes, amazon and much more. Can expect big music messages and inspiration to music and people.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes got a lot planned and new tracks which will offer something different have a mellow songs such as More than a friend and Sing Out and then Lets Rock which is more heavy rock. I also plan on work for my other act Mighty Eighty.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Yes have a lot of acoustic sets and non acoustic live shows lined up in the UK.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Loads more TV and radio play and continuing to spread the power of music. Making the music bigger and more powerful.
