45 TO AGROS MUSCIANS FROM CONCEPTION OF LIFE... THE GRINDER INTERVIEW

1.Thanks for your time. Tell us about your band and what you do for your band.

 - We are a three piece alternative rock band from SW Michigan. Brandon G. covers vocals and guitar,

Brandon C. plays the bass, and Andrew is the drummer.

2.When did you decide you wanted to be in a band?

- We've always wanted to be in a band. There hasn't been a moment where we didn't want music to be our career.

3. What is different about being a musician than you imagined?

-All the physical labor involved with hauling gear around to shows.

4.What gear do you use and why?

-We don't use any amps. We run everything directly from our Line 6 Helix and SamsAmp bass driver.

This way we have direct control of our own signal, and it saves us a lot of space and effort.

5. What music do you listen to that would surprise people?

 - We all enjoy a bit of jazz as well as death metal.

6. How do we find your music and merch to buy?

- You can find our music on Spotify, Amazon Music, Itunes, Youtube and our website 45toargos.com. You can find
all of our merch on our web site as well.

7. How did you get a record deal? Or do you want a record deal or are you DIY?

- We do hope to one day have a record deal, but at the moment we are content with doing everything ourselves.

8. What bands do people compare your music to?

We've been told that we sound a little bit like Green Day.

9. Are you pro Spotify / streaming services ? Or do you think it hurts sales?

 - We don't really care if we make sales from it or not, we just want our music to be out there and heard.

10. What’s the ultimate goal for the band?

A big goal for us is to make music that people can connect to and just get out and play music all around.

 11. Will we see you tour?

We plan on getting a tour set up in the next year or two. We are still developing ourselves as artists for now.

 12. Who would you love to tour with?

If we could, we'd love to tour with Dance Gavin Dance, Nothing More, and/or Neck Deep.

13.What is your favorite song of yours and why?

We have a few songs in the making that we are really connecting to at the moment. We don't expect them to be out until the end of 2018, though.

14. Why should people take the time to listen to your band over the thousands of other bands?

We absolutely love what we do, we wouldn't trade it for the world. The music we make for everyone to listen to is from the heart and is as genuine as we can make it. We feel the ones that take time out of their day to listen to us deserve the very best we can deliver.

15.What are your favorite music websites labels podcast etc?

We like Fueled By Ramen because they have twenty one pilots, Paramore, Fun., and they had Fall Out Boy.

 16. Is imagery important to you? Do you judge albums by the cover?

We don't judge albums by the cover, but we do understand that presentation is important to all forms of art.

17.If you could choose a cover song your band mates would hate what would it be?

 Anything by Coldplay or Chainsmokers.

18.Is the record or live show more important?

We feel both are equally important. We want to have a solid product to present to everyone, but at the same time we want a very energetic and fun show that people will enjoy.

19. Name 3 people dead or alive you would want to play your music for.

Abraham Lincoln, Will Swan, and Helen Keller.

20. Lemmy Ozzy Dio and Rob Halford in a cage match who wins?

If Ozzy could extend his jaw like he did in Little Nicky and bite all their freaking heads off, probably him.
