Beneath Slumber (swe)-interview

1. Please tell us about the about the band and its members. 

-Beneath Slumber is a Swedish doom-metal band founded by Arganas. Later on Miika + Thomas joined in.

We have been/are in bands like; Nåstrond, ajatus and Devil lee rot…



2. Who does the majority of the writing? Is it a group thing or does someone handle the writing duties?

-All songs are made by Arganas. Miika is helping with Music too. Thomas did lyrics on ”Triumph Of Death” album debut.



3. Where is the band based out of ? Where did you want to the band to end up? What was the dream city to have as your home base once you got out of your scene?

-We are based in Sweden and the Town Gothenburg. We are ”happy” beeing in this city and ”feel” no need to move. No Dreams.



4. What is your genre? What bands do you use to explain  to people what you sound like?

-WE are DOOM-METAL with DEATH-METAL+FUNERAL-DOOM+BLACK-METAL influnces…

Oldschool Doom-Metal.



 5. Can we buy anything from you Cd's shirts etc and where can we buy them?

-Our debut album ”TRIUMPH OF DEATH” is out on Black Vulture Records, as Pro-printed CD-r. + a limited Patch with album cover(LTD-from band only). its available on their website. https://m.facebook.com/blackvulturerecords666/



6. Do you have studio time lined up anything new coming soon?

-We have been working the 2nd album(Darkness, Death & Doom) for a while. But we all have had Little time, due to other bands. It will be 5 songs.



7. Have you ever been on tour? If so where and with who?

-No, we dont tour with this band. We only do Music.



8. What is your favorite band? Who are the bands who influenced you?

-some bands that have influneced Beneath Slumber are; Paradise lost, Celtic Frost, Venom, Anathema…

Favourite band? In Doom-Metal, Candlemass+Pardise Lost…

10. What about your music do you want people to remember? What is the quality you want to hit people when they hit play?

-the dark feelings within the Music. Like beeing embraced by Darkness. And to worship Satan.



11. Name a person who is integral to your band that nobody knows about , what person drives your band like they are part of the band? Who is the extra member ?

-well the extra member is Mirko(Bass) from the band Ajatus. Hes our 4the session member. Hes featured in our video –”AURAL CHAOS”.

12. Tell nerds like me tell us about your live rig and equipment.

-We dont play live.



13.What is your musical guilty pleasure that you are ashamed of?

-no guilty pleasures here.



14.If you could custom build a band who would be the members?

-drums-sandoval(Terrorizer)

-guitar-King(Slayer)

-bass-Lemmy(Motörhead)

-vocals-Messiah(Candlemass)

+me as manager.



15.Message to the fans? What is it?

-Keep supporting us. Buy our Music and merch.



16.If you could bring back one metal legend who would it be?

-Let them rest in Peace.



17. Who in the band has the stinkiest feet?

-The one who doesnt wash them.



18. What is the worst album by your favorite band?

-One fave band is Kreator. Worst album? Dont know, stoped buying them after ”Coma of souls”…



19. How do you think your band will break up?

-When i dont do new Music and involve the others in to it. We will disapear in silence…
