Vocalist Randy Bettencourt shares what Ten Year Guilt, Part 1 means to him. He says, "It really is a culmination of something that we started over 10 years ago. Personally, I knew that we had great chemistry together and things just clicked. Putting things back together and seeing things through was exciting and very satisfying."

Jump The Fall took a 10-year hiatus, though the band never officially broke up and stayed active in the music scene with other bands. Drummer Steve Kilroy shares, "10 Year Guilt is the name of one of our songs but seemed appropriate. Around that time I had gotten the opportunity to tour with Tantric. Sadly, soon after that opportunity, people had family matters that forced us to disband, but every so often we would talk about possibly getting back into it." Kilroy adds, "The recordings were always my personal favorite tracks, and getting to remix and master them for a release was more than satisfying to me."

As far as the recording process went, Bettencourt shares, "This EP has touched multiple studios in multiple cities, states and even countries! From Massachusetts, to the UK, to LA, Nashville, and a few other places in between. It took some time but we think we got it right." The EP was recorded and produced by Dave Eve, Anthony Resta, John Mailloux, and Paul Hager. Mastering was done at The Lodge.

Jump The Fall hopes Ten Year Guilt, Part 1 resonates with listeners everywhere. Bettencourt says, "We want people to feel like rock 'n' roll is alive and well! This is a Part 1 of the EP and we want listeners to be curious and impatient for Part 2." Part 2 is slated for a 2021 release.

Kilroy adds, "I hope that people love it, talk about it, and share it. Jump The Fall is all about the music and a positive outlook. Getting signed and touring after so long of a hiatus was good fun for all of us. A lot went into this 4-song EP."
