The METAL TIMES : ANGEL VENGEANCE NEW ALBUM INTERVIEW

Thanks for taking the time to The METAL TIMES ,you have the new album out. Tell us about it.

This is a melodic power metal album that contains sticky melodies and hooks, all you need from the old school power metal is here together with technique on each instrument as progressive music. Theme of this album is about Apocalypse, our world is rotten by the activities of human, the sinners rules the world, as the time comes to an end, Angel of Vengeance would appear to punish all those mankind. 

Where was it recorded ? Is all the material new ?

This album was recorded at Chaichana Sound Studio, Bangkok, Thailand on drums, bass, lead guitars, keyboards, and vocals sessions then we moved to Music Factor Studio for rhythm guitars, and editing sessions before sending to Piet Sielck (Iron Savior) for mixing and mastering at Powerhouse Studio, Hamburg, Germany. All is new material except ‘Unite’ and a little bit stuffs that I had composed before since Mystic Angel my old band.

What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one ?

This is our debut album, to refresh our songs, we rearranged the stuffs that I had composed before together with the new stuffs, adding harmony solo on introduction of ‘Street of Tomorrow’, changing lyrics on the hooks of ‘Unite’ that first I wrote to use for political activity but finally, I decided not to get involved with politics anymore so I rewrote on its hooks, changing from political ideology to be relationship between friends 

Are you signed to a label ? If so, which one and how did they help or support the process ?

We have signed to Downfall Records, Sweden. Mike and Downfall Records helps us a lot both distribution channels of digital download, cd, and merchandises and also cooperate with Metal Coffee PR, USA to promote our debut album throughout the world. So the band and I can focus only on making music and performance rehearsals.

What has been going on with the band between album ? Did you tour ?

During recording this album, we got a contact from Japanese music promoter to perform the shows in Japan during Autumn 2018 from Hokkaido to Tokyo, great feedback from Japanese fans, we hope to get back to perform the shows in front of them again.

Do you have any new members ?

Honestly, this is an original members of Angel Vengeance.

Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album ?

We produced this album by ourselves, we had discussed and played it out during arranging the songs before we went to record in the studio, brainstorming made an amazing outcome, we’re all satisfied with our best selections for this album.

Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles, did you have any strange studio practices ?

Ha ha ha, never before, but we will try something next time!!, Mostly in rehearsal studio, we will focus on the music only, we love to play something strange from our studio album such as improvisation, that’s so funny.

What is your plans now that the new album is out ?

Try to reach as much as possible for the audiences around the world, social networks are the most effective at this time. As we know, we’re all on pandemic right now, only hope that we will get vaccine maybe 1 or 2 years from now on, after pandemic, see you all at the front!
