Prophets Of The Apocalypse
create thrash metal in its rawest and most unpolished form, narrating
all the brutality and bloodiness of the war. Tales of epic battles,
featuring the vehement vocal approach of front man Pete Serro
(ex-Strychnine) blurs the borders between thrash and blackened death
metal, while Pete’s raw, yet deliberate guitar riffing and solos will
ravage your soul.
Hailing from the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee, Prophets Of The Apocalypse are obsessed with launching a thrash metal assault worldwide! Their attack began in late 2017 by writing the blasting Step Into Your Mind, while in the studio working on another project. In June of 2018, Prophets Of The Apocalypse unleashed their debut album EP entitled War Metal. The first single, Battle Eyes, set the tone for the invasion, and was well received in the realms of metal.
The
band features an infernal spectrum of blackened death & speed metal
conjuring a diabolical, forceful sound, ripe with the smell of death.
Thunderous impending doom spawned by the bombing of furious double-bass
drumming, haunting vocals, and ferocious guitars, engulfs your senses.
Aficionados of Speed Metal and old school Thrash will lust for more
battle hymns from Prophets Of The Apocalypse. Their
sound has been compared to bands such as Kreator, Destruction,
Possessed, Abbath, Sodom, Obituary, Death, Testament, Nervosa, and
Coroner.
