Afraid of Human is a hard charging modern hard rock band comprised of Jimmie Botto (Vocals), Micheal Key (Lead/ Rhythm Guitar), Brandon Kulp (Rhythm/Lead Guitar), Dusty Huff (Bass) and John Grimm (Drums)
2. Who does the majority of the writing? Is it a group thing or does someone handle the writing duties?
The songwriting for the band is done primarily by Jimmie Botto and Brandon Kulp they normally work together on the lyrics and song structures but have both brought their own songs to the table.
3. Where is the band based out of ? Where did you want to the band to end up? What was the dream city to have as your home base once you got out of your scene?
Afraid of Human is based out of Warren, Pennsylvania.. A small city in northwest, PA surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest. No lack of beauty and inspiration here. We would love to tour the U.S. and share our music on a much larger scale and end up some where that is warm year round.

4. What is your genre? What bands do you use to explain to people what you sound like?
AOH is a modern hard rock band in the same genre as Volbeat, Breaking Ben, 5FDP, Godsmack, Shinedown, Avenged 7 Fold Etc...
5. Can we buy anything from you Cd's shirts etc and where can we buy them?
Our Cds and Shirts are available for purchase at any of our live performances around Northest,PA or Southwest, NY and will soon be available on our new website, coming soon..
6. Do you have studio time lined up anything new coming soon?
We are still promoting our self titled Lp, released earlier this year and available on all streaming platforms. We have been working on some ideas for new music though, we really never stop coming up with new material.
7. Have you ever been on tour? If so where and with who?
We have yet to "Tour" but we do play relentlessly in our region of PA and NY, Our music is in rotation on multiple stations in the region and we were honored to be hand selected to share the stage with Stone Sour at a Zippo Encore Event at the Zippo/Case Museum.
8. What is your favorite band? Who are the bands who influenced you?
My favorite band ( Brandon) at the moment is All That Remains. Jimmie likes Volbeat, Breaking Ben and Pantera, Dusty is into Metallica and Godsmack, John and Mikey are into all kinds of stuff. We all have a wide variety of influences going back to early 80's Thrash to 90's Grunge and New York Hardcore through the heavy music of today.
9. Do you have a website? And do I have to verify that I am 18 to enter it?
Our website is currently under construction but should be up as you read this. It is www.afraidofhuman.com and will have our music, videos a store link and show schedule available.
10. What is the quality you want to hit people when they hit play?
We want people to remember the honesty of our music.To take in the real life stories we tell about ourselves and our experiences and feel the power and emotion of the music.
11. Name a person who is integral to your band that nobody knows about , what person drives your band like they are part of the band? Who is the extra member ?
As of now we are on our own with no one in the background, our families are very supportive of what we are doing though so that helps out quite a bit.
12. Tell nerds like me tell us about your live rig and equipment.
Brandon plays Schecter Guitars through a Line 6 Spider 4 led into a Marshall Mode Four half Stack, all the beauty and effects of the Line 6 Driven by the raw power and tube pre-amp warmth of the Marshall.
Mikey plays Gibson Guitars through a Blackstar HT Stage Half stack.
13.What is your musical guilty pleasure that you are ashamed of?
I enjoy listening to Prince sometimes. ( Prince is a musical genius * Moose )
14.If you could custom build a band who would be the members?
We Custom built this band, lol (touche')
15.Message to the fans? What is it?
We love you all greatly, without our fans we wouldn't be able to continue what we do. Thank you and we will keep striving to impress with every live performance and new song we write.
16.If you could bring back one metal legend who would it be?
DIMEBAG !!!
17. Who in the band has the stinkiest feet?
We usually keep our shoes on so I'm not sure whose feet stink the most, I would venture to guess it's Dusty.
18. What is the worst album by your favorite band?
I was pretty disappointed with Metallica's St. Anger
19. How do you think your band will break up?
Afraid of Human will probably die of old age, we all get along really well and their haven't been too many serious disagreements. This is an incredible group of musicians to work with and I'm proud to be a part of it. Brandon
