24 December 2019 IMMORTAL SOULS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present THE BASTARD WITHIN's highly anticipated debut album, Better Dead Than Friends.

THE BASTARD WITHIN is an international grindcore band (Italy/Switzerland/USA) born in March 2015 from members and former members of well-known bands of the Italian and international extreme music scene. After some lineup changes, the band has been consisting of the following membership since the beginning of 2018:

CN Sid (Node, Conviction) - voice

Gianluca Sulpizio (Conviction) - guitar

Davide Stura (Any Face) - bass

Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Misery Index, etc.) - drums

With this lineup, THE BASTARD WITIHIN recorded their debut album, Better Dead Than Friends, which was originally self-released digitally but now seeing worldwide physical release via IMMORTAL SOULS PRODUCTIONS. The album was mixed at Ironape Studio in Vigevano (PV), where guitars, bass, and vocals were also recorded. Drums were recorded at Brochacho Studios in San Antonio, Texas. The mastering was performed by Dan Swanö at Unisound.

The album consists of 22 grindcore tracks with death metal, hardcore, and thrash influences. The following guests took part on some tracks: Jason Netherton (Misery Index, Asphalt Graves), Trevor (Sadist), Juri Bianchi (Addiction, Any Face, Hayma), Mãra Lisenko (Mãra), and Stefania Minervino (Too Late, Cave, Spoiled). THE BASTARD WITHIN stand for 0% compromise, 100% attitude, and 1000‰ grindcore!
