Elvis, Jon Bon-Jovi, and Paul Stanley, Steve Perry, Tommy Shaw

3.Who was the first singer you saw live that gave you chills?

Tommy Shaw

4.Many people say heavy music is just screaming, How would you combat that statement?

Music is art...there is no right or wrong way to convey your art, there’s room for everyone in my opinion.

5.If you growl or do harsh vocals how do you keep your voice after such violent performances?

I don’t growl, or do “harsh” vocals..lol...but I do kinda yell at the audience to get them going..I learned early on that you have to connect with an audience, and if that means to yell..ie. Paul Stanley, or any rock performer out of the 80’s and 70’s then you have to go with what works for you.

6. Do you have a warm up routine? Tell u bout it ?

I have a routine that I learned from Robert Mason from Warrant/ex Lynch Mob...I yell in a towel backstage for about 3-5 minutes off and on, and it warms up my chords just enough but not too much.

7. Do you think power or performance is more important?

 Performance.
