“Verde is the title track off of our debut EP, and we are ecstatic to be able to finally share the official lyric video with everyone. This song was written as a tribute to our friend, Alex Verde, who passed away in November of 2016. We felt it was necessary for us to pay homage to our friend who witnessed our beginnings as a band. The video was created by Tyler Cobillas of TC Media and we believe that Tyler knocked it out of the park! Tyler was very easy to work with and understood the concept we wanted from the beginning so the process was a breeze. We hope everyone enjoys the video as much as we do!” - John Medrano - Guitar
"When working with Pulsus’ video for their song, “Verde,” the goal was to create something that visually matched the intensity of the instruments and the emotion conveyed within the lyrics. Using both imagery and color shading that was representative of the band, the video was made to really show that strength through elements, such as flashing imagery, lightning, and more." - Tyler Cobillas
About Pulsus:
Hailing from Brownsville, Texas, Pulsus is one of the latest additions to Confused Records roster. Influenced by the likes of Periphery, Volumes, Veil of Maya, and other modern metal titans, this rising quintet brings a fresh sound to the heavy metal world.
Since their 2015 inception, Pulsus has traveled across Texas sharing the stage with acts like Immortal Guardian, So This Is Suffering, Varials, Yuth Forever, and Signs of Omnicide. Partnering with Confused Records in September 2018, they released their debut EP, Verde, that December. With its soaring guitar solos, thoughtful lyrics, and headbanging grooves, Verde is already making waves in the underground music scene. The EP has been featured on Texas KFRQ 94.5 FM and the UK’s 104.7 Castledown FM, as well as internet radio stations including RGV Titan Radio, Texas The Edge Radio, and Elemental Metal Radio. The band has also released a lyric video for lead singles Numbers and Verde.
Pulsus may be a new group, but they have the chops and determination to take them far beyond Brownsville. For this band, there is nowhere to go but up.
