Frank Palangi is a Upstate NY homegrown indie rock singer, guitarist and musician who can do anythin and everythin he sets his mind to. He has the type of personality that doesn't give up; whatever it takes, whoever long it takes. From early childhood he suffered from chronic illnesses that impacted his daily life but he was so determined to accomplish his goals he would say quote " I had no plan in backing down on my dreams". That became his life's mission statement. He was not going to settle for anythin less. Some describe Frank's music as the next evolution of 80's and 90's rock/metal combined with post grunge. He's had the good fortune to work with industry producers and band members from Daughtry, Saving Abel, Pillar, Kelly Clarkson , Day of Fire and others. He's open for acts such as 3 Doors Down, Fuel , Trapt, Kip Winger, Buchcherry, Candlox, Aaron Lewis, Starset, Lacey Strum and a whole bunch more. Frank Palangi was born with the drive flowing through his veins. He even teaches guitar lessons and offers audio production services to continue the music to the next generation, records, tracks, and mixes for local talent, and does a little film work on the side with movie themes (Halloween theme cover) and acting. Many people give up when things get tough or take longer that expected, Frank had an admirable stubbornness to his tenacity, he wasn't going to give up. The big choke in the music business is that it takes 10 years to become an over night success, for must people if they knew it would take ten years of relentless work, saying that's too long and too hard. Frank new he had great things in his future and was willing to work for it and it pays off.
Frank Palangi fuels a refreshing positive outlook serving up a feeding frenzy of edgy heavy guitars, deep n gritty vocals. Starting out after high school with a solid support system backing him from his parents, Frank's dream of music began and lead on a path to his 2011 debut self-titled "Frank Palangi EP". Influenced by bands from the 80's (Metallica, Ozzy, Def Leppard, Megadeth), 90's (Creed, Godsmack, 3 Doors Down), 2000's (Daughtry, Three Days Grace, Shinedown), he sculpted his musical motifs in the music mecca Nashville, TN. Leading up after with the "I Am Ready EP' - "Set Me Free EP" and an upcoming 4th EP, he isn't the stereotypical rocker with the rocknroll lifestyle you may think they are viewed as. He'd rather bring his dreams into reality.
