1.Thanks for taking the time to talk to The Grinder!
You have a new album out, Tell us about it! Well not an album per say but we have definitely have been doing some new things from music to artwork, merch and all that but no release date as of now.
2.Where was it recorded? Is all the material new? We actually have been doing the recordings our self and sending them to a guy in Denver Colorado to do the mastering he did our first album THE SICK TRUTH and hasn’t let us down thus far. The place is called UPROAR AUDIO. He dose awesome work. 3.What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one? Well we are just going to be putting out a few singles of what we think is our new best songs but the biggest difference is the change in members we have. We got some new members and moved around some of the old, we like to think it changed our sound some but we kept the roots that our fans loved.
4.Are you signed to a label? , If so which one and how did they help or support the process?
No label just signed by metal coffee PR and it has been so helpful on getting us out there we could not be more thankful.
5.What has been going on with the band between albums?
Did you tour? Besides writing new material and getting new merch yes we did do some touring through only a few states like Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah but we are hoping and aiming for this year to be better.
6.Do you have any new members?
Yes we have an new vocalist named Cody Anderson and a new drummer named Josh Wingrove also our old drummer Derek Vigil moved up to be our new guitar player since our last one didn’t work out so we still have Derek also we kept Jeremiah Pogroszewski around cause he has an awesome name an him and Derek were basically the reason From Ash To Stone even exist
7.Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album?
His name is Colton Krohn he use to live in Casper with us but moved to Denver but we still use him a used him for our last album THE SICK TRUTH he is a great guy and dose amazing work of all types of music. 8.Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles , Did you have any strange studio practices? Nothing to strange like that but we have been told its weird how when we record everything is a group decision an really comes down to majority rules an we will change it tell we are all happy other then that were laid back drink some beers have some fun and write some tunes that’s about it.
9.Of course tell us where to pick up your album and how to learn more about you. Well we just put out a new single called My Retaliation and it along with our last album is avaible and out every where, spotify,youtube,amazon,google,napster,tidal,deezer,tiktok,pandora,and basically where ever you can buy or stream or listen to music you’ll find us as long as you put in From Ash To Stone a lot of people forget the From.
10.What is your plans now that the new album is out?
Well like I said no real released date yet but you’ll be the first to know other then that were going to keep at what were doing putting out singles but would like and our going to tour around a lot more.
