ORACLE NEW ALBUM INTERVIEW

1.Thanks for taking the time to talk to The Grinder! You have a new album out, Tell us about it!
It is called “Hindsight is 20/20” and it comes out 1-1-2020. It has some of the darkest textures to date while also having more experimentation than the past.

2.Where was it recorded? Is all the material new?

In Camp Yeti and all the material is new.

3.What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one?

Our last release, “Seven Deadly Sins” was more of a concept album with songs such as “Pride” and “Greed” and so forth. It was also a bit more striped down and raw. There is still that element of rawness on “Hindsight is 20/20” but, with deeper lyrics, experimentation and an overall growth and maturity in our writing abilities.

4.Are you signed to a label? , If so which one and how did they help or support the process?

We had a small label out of Germany for the “Into The Unknown” record but, no, no labels now.

5.What has been going on with the band between albums? Did you tour?

Mostly writing, making videos and making marketing moves. We’ve not been on any tours but, do play shows.

6.Do you have any new members?

No, it’s three original members.

7.Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album?

We produce them all. That was something we started into years ago and still making advancements from one album to the next.

8.Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles , Did you have any strange practices?

Hahaha. Well, we like to see our instruments when we record and we have never even thought of recording naked, so nothing out of the ordinary for us.

9.Of course tell us where to pick up your album and how to learn more about you.

www.oracleextrememetal.bandcamp.com for cd’s and you can steam us on most of the streaming sites like Spotify. Also learn more at our site www.oracleextrememetal.com

10.What is your plans now that the new album is out?

To support the new album for a while through shows, media and begin writing for another album at some point.
