Recorded and Mixed at Widowmaker Studios in McAllen Texas by Joshua Lopez (Immortal Guardian, Gorgos) over winter 2018 Joshua had the following to say about the release.

"Possession is a lot heavier, faster and more technical than the their previous release with a refined and focused production. Loud, face melting solos and wall to wall riffs that groove and THRASH!!! Definitely among the best bands in the thrash metal genre." - Joshua Lopez – Producer – Widowmaker Studios (Immortal Guardian, Gorgos, Overt Enemy)

The band had the following to say about their new EP:

"Possession is the next step in Overt Enemy’s evolution as an original act and musical style moving forward blending our thrash, death and groove metal influences with aggressive clean vocal delivery and ass kickin’ Texas attitude." - Leo Ortiz – Guitar/Vocals

"We’re proud of being a Texas metal band and representing everything that means to the rest of the world. Possession kicks ass and we’re ready to light up the pit!" - Jaime Ayala – Drums

"Horns up fkers!" - Slayerella – Bass/Vocals

"We strive to write lyrics that make you think. During the writing process we discussed the various ways that one might be “possessed”, influenced or controlled by an external source and had the realization that we are all “possessed” by our tech and that tech is for many their most valued possession. So the song ended up being direct commentary on humanity’s current addiction to technology and connectivity." - Rob Hahn – Guitar/Vocals

Possession will be available on August 9th 2019 on all digital platforms and is also available for preorder at www.overtenemy.com
