THE OUTSIDER JOINS METAL COFFEE AND MAKES IT BLACK AS HELL

The Outsider is a Mexican metal project created in the beginning of 2016, its only member is a person known as Nibsen, who writes all the music and lyrics for the proyect, also records all instruments and vocals. Its sound can be considered as Death Metal mixed with some other musical influences, one of the most important elements of its music is the use of orchestral elements, adding dramatism and taking the music to an epic sound level, music itself can be considered as very dark. Other elements that can be heard are eastern folk music, folklore instruments from around the world, progressive songs structures and a very slight touch of serialism, twelve-tone technique and a contemporary music composing style. As well as some straight riffs.

The lyrics written for the project are obscure. A part of them are heavily inspired by the cosmic horror writting style by H.P. Lovecraft. The rest of them deal with the horrible fate that humanity shall face, and humanity's psyche.
So far, The Outsider has three releases out,  and is currently working in a new album which will take the sound of the project to a whole new level, it will be more focused on prog, experimental music, twelve-tone technique and even jazzy sounds but keeping its orchestral influence and obscure sound.

The Outsider has also been interviewed for many specialized websites, radio programs and even newspapers in Mexico The project has also been mentioned in some specialized websites and blogs around the world

In order to present a solid music statement to the world, The Outsider released a full length album with very special guests, those include Nalle Påhlsson and Thomas Vikström from the legendary swedish symphonic metal outfit Therion, Vikström was also part of Candlemass time ago, Joey Concepcion, who plays guitar in Armageddon (band founded by ex-Arch Enemy Christopher Amott) made an astonishing solo contribution and Antony Hämäläinen, who sings in Armageddon as well and once was part of Nightrage made some incredible guest vocals. The album was released physically in a limited edition digipack format.
