SCARSIN JOINS METAL COFFEE PR

This biography is the story of a band with an outspoken musical drive and the willingness to ultimately live up to the stigma “Teeth Grinding Metal”.  With every metal band striving to be the most original, it’s without a doubt, this band shows natural
inventiveness, creativity and longevity.  After all the local metal bands dissolved into the chasm, out from those depths would arise a unique sound of metal called SCARSIN!!  SCARSIN was formed during the fall of 2012.  Members Rick Valle and Felipe “SKASH” Alverez became acquainted through a local musician finder.  Both with a common drive for Alpha King and interest in metal music, the two decided to meet and start arranging songs for a future album. Together, they would begin to mold what would soon become their debut album.  The band was originally called Son of Perdition.  After many rehearsals, the band put together a demo showcasing the bands future style.  The name “Son of perdition” soon changed, and the new title of the group became SCARSIN.  SCARSIN self-produced a fulllength album titled
SHADOWBEAST.  The group was now on the search for a bassist and a second guitarist.  After an endless pursuit for a bassist, the band was introduced to bassist Andres Morelas.  Andreas comes from a heavy musical background and plenty of experience.  He fit the style and direction of the band and became a natural fit for the band’s harmonies and melodical sound.  Andreas proved to be a multitalented finger slapping machine and joined the group during summer 2016.  The gap for the bass player was filled, and now the band needed a guitarist that can contribute to forward motion of the group while having good technical skills and abilities.  Skash called upon friend and previous bandmate, John Horvath A.K.A Johnno.  With little need to audition such a heavy hitting riff master

guitarist, Johnno without question steamrolled into the position and joined the band summer of 2018.  SCARSIN is fully assembled and is currently looking to book shows in the Midwest/Chicagoland area.  Meanwhile, the band is putting together a follow-up album that is still in its embryonic stages.
