1. Please tell us about the about the band and its members.
Heart of Jordan began its formation in early 2017 with Eric TenEyck (Guitar), and Andrew Everett (Drums). Preston Mailand (Vocals) was called in by Andrew and soon joined the fold after returning to Michigan from a stint in Florida playing in a handful of gulf coast bands. Preston and Eric combined some song ideas to create the beginning framework for the first 4 Heart of Jordan songs: Enslaved, Deny, No Escape, and Throne Alone. Soon after, Eric reached out to Elijah to fill out guitars. Eric and Elijah have known one another since the early 2000's, playing in bands together. After a few jam sessions, it became clear that something special was there. Time to fill in bass. Andy Taylor was recruited as the original bass player. He parted ways after 10 months due to creative differences. Dan Fell soon came in for bass duties and has been a member of the band since June 2018.
2. Who does the majority of the writing? Is it a group thing or does someone handle the writing duties? On the debut album: 50% Eric/Preston, 50% Elijah
3. Where is the band based out of ? Where did you want to the band to end up? What was the dream city to have as your home base once you got out of your scene? The band is based out of Lansing MI. Detroit MI would be the logical next step "home base"
4. What is your genre? What bands do you use to explain to people what you sound like? Our genre is hard rock/metal. We describe our sound as relating to: Breaking Benjamin, Killswitch Engage, Bad Wolves, Underoath, etc.
5. Can we buy anything from you Cd's shirts etc and where can we buy them? We are currently accepting mail orders via PayPal (paypal.me/heartofjordan). Official online storefront in the works.
6. Do you have studio time lined up anything new coming soon? New album just dropped worldwide 09/21/2018. You can find it anywhere you download or stream your music.

10. What about your music do you want people to remember? What is the quality you want to hit people when they hit play? We want people to sing along to our songs in unison. We want people to clap there hands in the air to the beat. We want our music to be associated with your greatest moments in life. We want our music to carry you through the tough times.
11. Name a person who is integral to your band that nobody knows about , what person drives your band like they are part of the band? Who is the extra member ? Our producer, Josh Schroeder. Elijah's wife, Stacy
12. Tell nerds like me tell us about your live rig and equipment. Elijah runs EVH amp and cab for dirt and Orange solid state 30 watt for clean with A/B switch several effects pedals precision switching. Eric runs Marshall JCM 2000 amp with Peavey 5150 cab. Lean and mean. Dan runs the "mystery" rig. In other words, IDK WTF he plays through. Andrew runs all Tama drums. Preston uses Shure SM58 mics.
13.What is your musical guilty pleasure that you are ashamed of? No comment, other than, there are no musical guilty pleasures that we are ashamed of.
14.If you could custom build a band who would be the members? Too tough to answer
15.Message to the fans? What is it? Support your local bands!!! Go to their shows. Interact with them on social media. Buy their music and march. Tell your friends about them!
16.If you could bring back one metal legend who would it be? It's gotta be 2. The Abbott Brothers.
