CARCINOGEN DAILY INTERVIEW

1. Please tell us the history of your band and it's members.
   - We are all musicians from Oklahoma, who have been in a number of bands in the past. Danny, Josh, and Ben have been playing music together in different bands on and off over the years. But as soon as Stephen Bisbee jumped on guitar we knew we finally found the missing piece.  The very first time all four of us jammed together we all looked around and just shook our heads in a collective "Yes" moment.

2. Origin of the band's name
   - It's a play on Carson Daly's name, but we like to think it has multiple meanings.
We all are being force fed carcinogens on a daily basis, often times we feed them to ourselves.

3.Where is the band based out of and what is the music scene like there? Any bands you'd recommend?
-Tulsa, OK. The music scene is fairly diverse here in Tulsa. It's one of the more redeeming qualities of the city. There's been a history of a sizable punk and metal scene going back to the 1980s. We highly recommend checking out. Smoke Offering, Iron Cathedral, Devil Theory, Senior Fellows, Constant Peril, Machine In The Mountain, Gutter Villain, Old Man, Grass Crack, Don't Care Bears, The Shame, Larkin, We The Undead, Screaming Red Mutiny and Freak Juice.

4. Describe your style
   - kinda like Crowbar and Sabbath fucked, had a baby named Corrosion of Conformity and that baby started listening to the blues from the 20s and 30s with his best friend Clutch.

5.What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
   - We Have our Self Titled EP that came out April 8th 2018.

6. Do you have any new music in the works
   - We immediately have about another half dozen songs ready or almost ready to record for our followup to our ep that we hope to have out by the end of 2018.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
 - Not planning on performing again until much later this year. We hit it very hard at the beginning of the year, and we are taking a moment to focus on writing.

8. What plans do you have for the future of the band?
 - More Releases, More Dates.

9.Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff.
 - Our EP is available pretty much everywhere. Go to your store or streaming service of choice. Itunes, AppleMusic, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, Google Play, Slacker Radio, CdBaby, Bandcamp, reverbnation, etc etc etc. We just released our music video for "It's Only Pain" on youtube and facebook. We currently have the full EP available at the name your price option at Carcinogendaily.bandcamp.com . pay if you want, what you want.

10. What would you like a listener to remember most when hearing your music for the first time?
     - We want people to remember that, Some of the best music you're going to hear is done by guys who are doing this completely on their own, DIY, independent of any financial, creative or promotional support from a label, so you won't find their albums at the Best Buy or Wal Mart, it's something you have to have a passion for to go and seek it out on your own, but the pay off in a way is greater because you take a chance and you become involved, which is the beauty of DIY and the punk ethos.
