GRIM FATE ( I THINK, THEY NEVER SAY )THE CORONA SPECIAL

1.Tell us who you are with and what you’ve been up to in 2020 so far

GF: As always, we kept the ball rolling. Previous year we did the split with Putrevore, which turned out great. Recording and releasing the new full length through Xtreem Records is obviously the biggest deal for us this year. Also there will be a split 7” with Entrapment, which will contain a Paradise Lost cover from both bands. Really excited and grateful that Dawnbreed Records is sticking their necks out for us to make this record available.

2.What plans have the virus changed for the band?

GF: Getting our music and merchandise out there can be a hassle. Shipment takes longer and is becoming more expensive. There will be more music this year and hopefully there will be more room for promoting and distributing.

3.Do you think the virus in the big picture is help or hindrance for bands?

GF: From the birth in 2017 to now, this band has always been about Death & Decay. We didn’t expect the concept to be a worldwide success.

4.Are you doing live streams or special video’s / releases for your fans stuck at home

GF: We will keep our music production at a high level, so that’s something everyone can look forward to.

5.What are you doing in quarantine that would surprise people?

GF: Everybody knows that we are sick fucks, so probably not a lot of surprises on that part….?

6.What has been your mainstay music or netflix ?

GF: While working hard on our own music, creating casualties and anti-participating in society, there isn’t a lot of time left for watching television.

7.Will you think differently about touring? And about groupies?

GF: We are still fond of groupies, no worries there.

8.Do you know anyone personally affected?

GF: As a matter of fact, we know a lot of affected people. Crazy fucks who are into death metal. Luckily for them, we like sick people.

9.Do you think it’s more important to blame someone for the virus or to get it solved

GF: We blame the virus.

10.Last question would you rather cover yourself in honey and throw yourself into a bees nest
Or see your bassist naked?

GF: What’s a bassist? Oh, you mean that moron with that one- stringed wooden plank? Everybody already has seen him naked. He’s PD Allin.
Check out the new album ‘Perished In Torment’, out on tape by Dawnbreed Records and Seed Of Doom and LP/CD by Xtreem Records.
Thanks for reading, stay sick!
