CRAWLING MANIFEST INTERVIEW WW3 SINGLE!

1.Thanks for taking the time to talk to The Grinder! You have a new single out, Tell us about it!

After our last release, we at Crawling Manifest decided that we wanted to take a step back, take a solid look at what we were doing, and come up with a new product that we could all be stoked for. With this new single, “World War III,” we think that we have done that.

2.Where was it recorded? Is all the material new?

We actually have a home studio set up where we do all of our own recording. This particular song is pretty new, we mostly wrote it while we were in our “studio.”

3.What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one?

After the last release, we decided that we wanted to go more in a classic Thrash Metal direction, both musically and lyrically. The biggest difference I would say would actually be the lyrical content. While the last release was very fantasy oriented, with dragons and that crap, this one is politically charged, and speaking on things that we see wrong in the world around us.

4.Are you signed to a label? , If so which one and how did they help or support the process?

At this time we are not signed to a label.

5.What has been going on with the band between albums? Did you tour?

In May of 2019 we went on a two week tour run with some bands that we were friends with, mostly hitting the mid-Atlantic region. Past that we had one of our founding members leave the group, which we think is partly what spurred on this new sound.

6.Do you have any new members?

At this time we have not gotten any new members. Everything heard on this Single is done by Andrew Gladu (Bass, Lead Vocals, and Drum Midi) and Trevor Layton (Lead/Rhythm Guitar).

7.Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album?

When it comes to the production process, especially with a home studio, we have an interesting dynamic. Because we have been working together for a few years now, and have done multiple recordings with this studio setup, we know that during any take, at any point, we can stop the recording, take a step back, and figure out what went wrong. The best part about this dynamic is that we are both here for the same reason, to make the best music that we can.

8.Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles , Did you have any strange studio practices?

Whenever we get stuck on a track, or a part of a song, we like to take a step back and play some Street Fighter until we get our groove back.

9.Of course tell us where to pick up your single and how to learn more about you.

Our new single, “World War III” is available everywhere you can listen to music, with a Lyric video up on Youtube as well! To keep up with us on Social Media, check out our Facebook, or Instagram pages!

10.What is your plans now that the new single is out?

We definitely have a few new things coming down the pipe now. There’s definitely going to be some new information coming out about that very soon!
