New Album Interview : Temptation's Wings

1.Thanks for taking the time to talk to The Grinder! You have a new album out, Tell us about it!

Hey thanks for the promotion! We recorded a 2 song Ep in 2019 called "The Path" to coincide with our Maryland DoomFest appearance that year. We recently had it pressed to colored vinyl and is limited to 300 copies.

2.Where was it recorded? Is all the material new?

We recorded it at Giraffe Studios in Hendersonville NC about 45 mins south from where we live. The first song Mirkwood appeared on a live album we did in 2018 but this version is much better. The other track Dimensions is all new.

3.What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one?

We are now a 4 piece, so guitar harmonies and overall fuller sound. Also incorporating different writing styles from newest members of the band.

4.Are you signed to a label? , If so which one and how did they help or support the process?

Were currently unsigned. We are 100% DIY.

5.What has been going on with the band between albums? Did you tour?

Just writing for next album. We played a lot of one off shows around the area and had a quick tour around our Maryland Doomfest appearance.

6.Do you have any new members?

Ryan Fox joined us about 3 years ago on bass, we moved Chad our old bassist to 2nd Guitar.

7.Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album?

Its co produced with ourselves and Andy Bishop who owns the studio. He kept our tendancies to wanna over perform in check by telling us no when something was overkill.

8.Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles , Did you have any strange studio practices?

For some reason we always get Jimmie Johns during recording days. It seems to always bring the best in us out!
* moose approved! Gargantuan is my jam

9.Of course tell us where to pick up your album and how to learn more about you.

Shows are the best place to buy anything from us for sure! Were on all the social media sites and bandcamp also and of course were on Itunes and Spotify also. Bandcamp is our preferred method of communication to buy our music online

10.What is your plans now that the new album is out?

Just keep spreading the word of what were all about!
