FROM ASH TO STONE VIDEO RELEASE / GUEST REVIEW REALLY COOL!

Last week our friends in From Ash to Stone release their latest music video.. "My Retaliation" We wanted to help them celebrate by organizing a compilation review of the song with some of our peers across the world who are involved in the music business.

"From Ash to Stone's track "My Retaliation" sports deep vocal growls to high screams reminiscent of Faith No More's Mike Patton. It's well produced and all the instruments hit you in the face just at the right level. The outro has a lovely contrasting more atmospheric feel to help bring you down.

If you ever woke up in a cold sweat feeling that A Perfect Circle needed heavier guitars and more intense vocals then "My Retaliation" might just be the cure you're after."

"I love these dudes. They're all so kind and supportive of everyone's endeavors. When I saw they were releasing a music video for this song I was very excited. Cody's vocals are so good, and I looove that fucking 8 string too. The video has that great blend of humor/seriousness that makes metal so much fun, which Is exactly what I'd expect from these dudes. The song also sounds great, all the recordings were solid and Colton crushed the mix! I'm really happy to see these guys releasing so much content and pushing forward. Great job, FAtS bois!"

"I love these guys.. they've been great friends to me since I moved here to Casper two and a half years ago. I've had the pleasure of seeing this song performed LIVE which was such a treat. Josh hammers the drums and the twin guitar work of Jeremiah and Derek inspires me. And then of course you get Cody prowling around the stage like a caged animal. Definitely love the song and the video is SIC!!!"

"Classic style power riffs with an outro-version feel of death metal vocals. the song presents itself with nice under laying chuggs and a bit of high squeal guitar work. Definitely has the brutal feel to it when you counter in the double kicks and the loomy bass. It captures a selection of different influence but punches back with the ever present straight up metal Definitely worth a listen."

"The guys in From Ash To Stone were fun to work with on the video for "My Retaliation". It was really fun setting up the performance and also filming many of the kill scenes included in the video. Attempting to make them as gruesome as possible with the limited budget, made for a lot of laughter on set. We all had a fun time drinking brews, eating pizza, and spilling fake blood everywhere!
