BLOOD OF MFN ANGELS TALK “The Failure of Faith.” HERE FIRST! ( take 2)

1.Thanks for taking the time to talk to The Grinder! You have a new album out, Tell us about it!

It isn’t out yet.  We just finished mixing and mastering as well as the artwork. The album is titled “Failure of Faith”.  The albums message is how organized religions have globally divided humanity by selling the fictitious stories clamed as history and the existence of messiahs and gods.  I just focused on the big three that dominate most cultures, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

2.Where was it recorded? Is all the material new?

We recorded at Mastersound Studios in Tampa, FL.  Our engineer is Preston DiCarlo.  He was fantastic to work with, and guided us well.  The album has 9 new original tracks and one cover of Motorhead’s song “Don’t Need (Religion).

3.What is the biggest difference between your last release and the new one?
Our last release was just a three song EP telling a three-part Norse god story based on Norse mythology.  This album tackles a completely different topic that affects us every day.  The “Failure of Faith” is a full-length album, so we were able to show our diversity.  We have a great new line-up.  I hope metal fans will be pleased.
4.Are you signed to a label? , If so which one and how did they help or support the process?

We are signed with Sliptrick Records.  They have been great.  They have helped promote our upcoming US tour in May.
5.What has been going on with the band between albums? Did you tour?

We mostly focused on the album.  We have done some dates but didn’t focus on performing.  We have a great US tour schedule coming together for this year.
6.Do you have any new members?
Yes, an all-new line-up.  Randy Reyes-Vocals, Jonathan Rushford-Drums/synthesizer, and The Maggot-Lead Bass/backing vocals.  If your curious by what I mean by lead bass, you will just have to hear the album.
7.Who produced the new album and how did they effect the album?
It was produced by us and Preston DiCarlo.  He guided us well on finding the right sound that matched our musical direction.

8.Some like to record naked or in the dark with candles , Did you have any strange studio practices?

(Laughing) No nothing out of the ordinary.  Except having a handle of Jack on hand.

9.Of course tell us where to pick up your album and how to learn more about you?

When the album you will find it at all streaming and online retail outlets.  We will also be releasing the album on cd in select outlets.
10.What is your plans now that the new album is out?

We will start touring in May, and the dates are coming in.  We will be hitting the road starting May 5th with The Convalescence, Filth, and Casket Robbery.  We will be announcing dates this Wednesday for our tour dates in July.  We have other dates in the works from August-October this year as well.
