NEW BREW : AGE OF ORE

If you haven’t had the chance yet, you’ll want to check out the most talked about band on the SJ music scene, The Age of Ore. Why? Not only are they an extremely talented metal and heavy rock band that plays both originals and covers, but most amazingly, they are between the ages of 11 and 15 years old! Yes, that’s right, they are young…but they will blow your mind!  

 

As a result of their hard work, dedication and love for music, The Age of Ore has had a lot of exciting opportunities.  Accolades Elephant Talk Indie Music Awards, which recognizes the best local independent artists, named The Age of Ore’s first EP, Trying Times as 2019 teen EP of the year! Also, Jake Hoopes, the bands vocalist and guitarist, was chosen as best male vocalist of 2019 by Elephant Talk Indie Music Awards! Additionally, they were crowned the For the Record Summer Battle of the Bands winner.  Standout Gigs They have played at legendary venues such as The Queen in Wilmington, World Café Live, The Hard Rock Café,   

Voltage Lounge, The Trocadero, The Fire and Connie’s Ric Rac in Philly. They headlined the Rock the Boat Music festival aboard the Battleship NJ and they played on the main stage of the Not Your Mothers Music Festival (NYMMF). NYMMF was the winner of the PHL17’s award for best music festival of 2018! The band also played at the 9th annual Elephant Talk Music Festival.  Unique Opportunities The band had the opportunity to play a live acoustic set and be interviewed on 2 Chicks and a Chef Radio Show on WSNJ 1210am. They also did a TV interview for the InTune show, produced by RVNTV. They have also had articles published about the in the South Jersey Scene column of Out on the Town Entertainment Guide.
