Through working at Villalobos rescue center (yes the one from the tv show, Pitbulls and Parolees) together, That’s when veteran drummer John wood came into the picture having years of experience playing with many different bands, from bucket flush to mea culpa all the way to a country cover band ms. Martha’s good time gang. It started as most bands do covering different songs like Iron Maiden’s the trooper and anthrax’s madhouse, and Indians. Shortly after Perry Sanchez had riffs left over and some recycled from desecratör . Just being a 2 piece thrash band we weren’t ready to play live so in 2017 we decided to release a 5 song demo which can still be found on our bandcamp.
Shortly after releasing our demo we wanted to start playing live and needed a bass player. Through skateboarding chance hirsch(current Skate Fast Die, ex. Marvin Hirsch and His Bastard Sons) and Perry Sanchez had been skating and friends for over a decade but somehow never worked on any music projects together. After sending chance a demo with tabs it took less then 2 weeks and totally possessed was complete. The 3 piece lineup has been playing locally in New Orleans since September 2017, with hopes of a tour in the near future.
Our main influences is all the 80’s thrash. Obviously the big 4 are a huge part of our influence, but we’re metal heads and could nerd out for far too long (Every metal head can relate). But just to fire off some other huge influences I’d have to say, sacred Reich, death angel, death, merciless death, skeleton witch, 3 inches of blood, annihilator.... dude this list could go on and on and on. And to be honest it’s not just metal and thrash, anything that we think sounds good from surf, to crust, to fucking Motown man. Lastly all the New Orleans homies! Morbid torment, space cadaver, Mars, ar-15, torture garden, a hanging etc.. are keeping the metal scene fucking true in between the mosquito infested dirty south swamp lands of New Orleans!
