Interview with Aaron Robinson - Guitarist for Blood Of Angels.

Blood of Angels is a musical group that blends the core genres of death metal, black metal, old school thrash metal, to create their own, unique sound.
Reigning from their infamous hometown of Tampa, Florida, Blood of Angels uses their vocal and instrumental influences to comment heavily upon the lies that have enveloped as truth amongst the general population. Influenced by such artists who include Slayer, Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquility, and Morbid Angel, Blood of Angels has completed their debut release, a studio EP, "Rise of the Fallen Gods". The album was released to fans and fellow listeners independently and delivered the group's ideas and collective beliefs that are saturated in a sense of self-empowerment and individuality.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Matt Johnson Productions in Deltona, FL, with producer Matt Johnson. Blood of Angels debut release pays homage to Amon Amarth, Pantera, and Machine Head all of whom have served as inspiration for various members of the band. Band members, Chris Iibucha (vocalist), Aaron Robinson (guitarist), Jonathan Rushford (drummer), and the Maggot (bassist), have been united under Blood of Angels umbrella since October 2015.

Individually and collectively, alike, the band is extremely familiar to stage performance. During the album cycle for their current release "Rise of the Fallen Gods” achieved critical acclaim, and numerous independent music awards. Blood of Angels was honored with the “Best Metal/Hardcore Song” at the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards. As well as “Best Metal Song”, “Best Metal EP”, and “Best Metal Video for the August 2017 Akademia Awards. The year was culminated with the “Metal Band of the Year Award” at the 5th Annual International Music and Entertainment Awards. With the signing to their new label Sliptrick Records, Blood of Angels has begun tracking their follow up release titled “The Failure of Faith.”

The success of Blood of Angels presently and in the future of the mainstream industry, stems from their ability to avoid the pressures and standards of metal music to dictate their visions and creativity. Ultimately, the group wishes to inform, motivate, and enlighten the mind set of their fans and listeners.
