ENIME INTERVIEW

1. Please tell us about the about the band and its members. 

We are the metal band ENIME (Meaning Within Me) - Stef and Phil Forget (guitars), Eric (drums) Pat (bass) and Grey (vocals) 

2. Who does the majority of the writing? Is it a group thing or does someone handle the writing duties?

For both albums, Stef wrote all the music and Grey took care of all the lyrics and vox melodies.

3. Where is the band based out of ? Where did you want to the band to end up? What was the dream city to have as your home base once you got out of your scene?

We are all from around the city of Montreal, Quebec / Canada. 
We're happy where we are and we don't have any dream city but we hate winter!  

4. What is your genre? What bands do you use to explain  to people what you sound like?

I think our genre is just metal you know... I don't want to say that we are a thrash band and / or just a heavy metal band... today... they are so many genres in the metal world that I did not take time trying to understand the meaning of all lol  - We do sound like Anthrax, Megadeth & Metallica.

6. Do you have studio time lined up anything new coming soon?

Our second album BLEEDING OUT was recorded in the spring/summer 2018.  
It is all done and we are looking to secure a label deal before the release. 

7. Have you ever been on tour? If so where and with who?

We did a provincial tour in 2017 with many local bands.

8. What is your favorite band? Who are the bands who influenced you?

Me Stef, I don't really have a favorite band but my influences come mostly from 80s Thrash and Hardcore punk music and some bands like Maiden, Sabbath, Motorhead stuff like that.


9. Do you have a website? And do I have to verify that I am 18 to enter it?

10. What about your music do you want people to remember? What is the quality you want to hit people when they hit play?

Good times - To turn the volume up and bang their F...... heads \m/
