EverCross is a Christian Metal band from Nashville, with aggressive vocals and thundering riffs, we hit you with Grace in your face !! I, Ryan carver, am the guitarist and founder of EverCross
2.When did you decide you wanted to be in a band?
i played in a band in the 80's, but quit for quite a while. Then I saw a band at Church playing heavier music and sounded amazing. I thought, I can do that.
3. What is different about being a musician than you imagined?
The big difference about being a musician is all the politics. Other bands, venues, radio stations, you have to do a lot of networking and talking to people
4.What gear do you use and why?
I use Mesa boogie amps, cause I want that heavy metallica sound. I play Jackson and ESP guitars. I like the feel of them and how they sound.
5.What music do you listen to that would surprise people?
Parkway Drive, being a Christian most people think you only listen to other Christian music. I listen to all bands

7. How did you get a record deal? Or do you want a record deal or are you DIY?
We signed with WarFront records after we sent them our music for their festival. We weren't looking to get signed, just wanted to play the festival. lol
8.What bands do people compare your music to?
a little Metallica, Lamb of God, Skillet and Parkway Drive
9.Are you pro Spotify / streaming services ? Or do you think it hurts sales?
I am all for streaming, but they could pay the artist more. I'm not greedy but, $0.01 for a song, come on ???
10.What’s the ultimate goal for the band?
Our goal is to take the world by storm and play where no other Christian bands have played !!!
11.Will we see you tour?
After we record our 2nd Cd at the 1st of the year, we are going to hit the road hard
12.Who would you love to tour with?
Parkway Drive !!!
13.What is your favorite song of yours and why?
Friendly Enemy, I like the riff and the way Steven sings the chorus. Came together good, IMHO.....
14.Why should people take the time to listen to your band over the thousands of other bands?
people should give us a listen because we are more heavy riffs with a beat you can get into, not really fast, but head bobbing metal. Old school, if you will !! And we sing about different things in life and how to make it better, hopefully
15.What are your favorite music websites labels podcast etc?
I listen to youtube mixes to hear all the new music and what's really hitting now
16.Is imagery important to you? Do you judge albums by the cover?
I think imagery is important, you need something that will catch their eye, then let the music do the talking...
17.If you could choose a cover song your band mates would hate what would it be?
Sponge Bob Square pants theme song .....lol
18.Is the record or live show more important?
The record is very important. You can have a great show, but more people will hear you, than will actually see you. (for now)

Definitely Ozzy. He's done every drug, drank every alcohol known to man and is STILL HERE !!!!!! lol
