ANOTHER DAY'S ARMOR INTERVIEW

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Another Day’s Armor formed in 2015 with Nick (guitar) and Alec (Drums.) Since then it took some time to find the right members, but we couldn’t be happier with our lineup now. We all found each other periodically along the way until all the pieces fit.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

To be honest, all I can remember about it is when we were brainstorming of a band name, someone suggested Another Day’s Armor and we thought it sounded cool. No deep meaning there haha!

 3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are based out of the Rockland - Westchester county area of New York. There is a pretty decent music scene in New Jersey not too far from us. We’d definitely like to recommend our friends in Monument Of A Memory. They are an awesome local metalcore band who we hope to tour with soon.

4. How would you describe your style?

We feel that our sound is a hybrid between rock and metal. Instrumentally, we like to be able to get technical and experimental at times, but vocally we like to focus on mainly singing as opposed to screaming in order to reach a broader audience.

 5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

So far we have released 3 singles. 2 with our old vocalist and 1 brand new one that just released in July. People can expect to hear our debut EP soon!
6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We have been working on our debut EP for almost a year now. It’s finally finished and we couldn’t be more proud of it.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We are playing a show with Trivium on July 27th in Poughkeepsie, NY. As for tours, we don’t have anything planned just yet but we will soon.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

We plan to just keep growing and reaching a bigger audience. We want to be headlining the biggest festivals in rock and metal one day.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can find our music and all major digital retailer: iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play. Our new music video for “Death Investing” is also available to watch on YouTube.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
I would like anyone who listens to our music to be able to connect and relate to it. If we can affect someone in a positive way through our music, then that’s what matters most at the end of the day.
