1. Please, tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Hi, we started ten years ago and since that time our musicians have changed. Today, our members are: Pavel (Kadaamp) – guitar/vocals, Yaroslav (Basher) – guitar, Alexander (Heretic) – bass and Arthur – drums, the most young member of Cryogenic Implosion.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Well, Implosion means an inner explosion,a quick destruction under the influence of inner factors; theoretically something like this may cause the appearance of the collapsar. Well it is a powerful and quite downbeat thing, which is not explored, just like our music.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like here? Are there any local band your could recommend?
We are in the city of Chernivtsi, northern Bukovina, this is in the west of Ukraine. Our places are famous for ancient legends about Carpathian mountains, witches, sorcerers, etc.
Our music scene is more oriented to new musical trends and is not very interested brutal death & death metal scene, but we will always try to develop and maintain an underground.
From the Ukrainian Band we can recommend: D.Hate, Endocranial, Datura, Ezophagothomia, Flashgore, and this list can be continued. And of course – Cryogenic Implosion!
4. How would you describe your stile?
We play death metal and try to combine technical death metal with old school death metal, we also want to give our music a certain atmosphere.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from you works?
Our first demo “When Dull a Degradation Prospers” was recorded in 2008, the next recording was a full-length CD album “Creation of the new world” in 2011, which was published on the Ukrainian label “Metal Scrap Records”. As well as participated in VA "Metal Scrap Records XX Years Anniversary" compilation #7.
Now we are planning finally a new album, I hope in the near future we will please our listeners with new killer death metal.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Yes, I've had several tracks that have not been included in any album and compilation, they can be heard on bandcamp.com, and we are preparing new material for recording a new full-length album.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We've played a few concerts lately, but now we want to concentrate on recording new material, and after that we plan to step up with concerts. Maybe even a tour in support of the new album.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Create a killer metal, record albums, play concerts and tours!!!
