After the demise of Foreshadow, Aaron formed Blood of Angels in October 2015.

  1. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Blood of Angels is a name that fits our sound, and message. It is a metal name that is open-ended, and leaves us open to explore many musical directions.
  1. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are based in Jacksonville, FL. The scene is very supportive of not just the metal music, but all styles of Rock. With ample live venues, and fantastic rehearsal facilities it is a great city for music. We would recommend Denied Til Death and Inner Demons.

  1. How would you describe your style?

I would describe our style as melodic death metal. We are heavily influenced by the Swedish metal bands, as well as our Florida death metal bands.

  1. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

On April 2017 we released our debut EP “Rise of the Fallen Gods.” We are a fast paced, hard driving band with brutal vocals and melodic sensibilities.

  1. Do you have any new music in the works?
We are currently writing our next album titled “The Failure of Faith.” We are planning to begin tracking in October 2018.
  1. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We don’t have any plans currently. We are just focused on writing our upcoming full-length album.
  1. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

After the release of our next album, we plan on doing at least two full production music videos. We also plan on playing metal festivals and touring in as many places as possible in support of the album.

  1. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can check out our music and purchase it on our webstore http://www.bloodofangels.net/store

  1. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
I would like for the listener to remember the heaviness blended balanced with the melody. I would also like the listener to feel the anger, and to release their inner aggression with the music.
