hey,
we are Shame (guitar), Angst (bass), Ire (drums) and Hope (vocals) our band is
Hollowed Human. Our music is deep and rich in emotion.
2.What do you classify
your sound as, Who do you tell people you sound like?
we
think for the most part we're pretty original but to give you an idea probably
a mix of Marylin Manson, Deftones, Stone Sour, Chevelle and Motionless in
White.
3.With digital music in
today's world would you vote to keep or eliminate physical media?
definitly,
there is something romantic about having a hard copy, but the convenience of
being able to carry around an unlimited amount of digital music wherever you go
and creating playlists and sharing music is a way of life these days.
4.What is the reason you
decided to be a musician and has that reason paid off?
(Angst)-mainly
I think music finds you, and I've never looked back. It has introduced me to a new world and I have met some
incredibly creative people and shared some of the deepest relationships and
friendships through music. (Hope)- yea I agree it's a major part of our lives,
you have to sacrifice and make choices to keep the music going. (Shame)- I did
it for the chicks 😜 but seriously, it's something that is in you and the
desire to express yourself and your thoughts to others who may feel alone or
misunderstood and need a hug when no one is there to give it to them.
(Ire)-Yup, that about sums it up for me.
5.How do you feel about
females in metal getting special attention? Do you feel it is fair?
No
problem, best player best style best sound always wins.
6.In the world climate
with hatred being at an all time high and metal being an “ angry” music
Do you think your music
contributes to anger and hatred?
no
7.Are you opposed to
religious beliefs or politics being used in music?
We
are not opposed to anything that an artist wants to convey to an audience.
8.We have dive into some
pretty deep issues here do you think your music sends a message and if so what
is it?
we
want people to be aware and have an open
mind but mostly know that they are not alone when they hurt. We all hurt at
some point in our lives and it's ok to let your guard down and ask for help.
9.The market
has changed and many bands believe that record labels are a thing of the past,
with many labels now charging bands to “sign” how do you think a band can make
it in todays scene?
you
still need labels, they have the promotional budget and that makes a big
difference. Bands can do a lot of things
as far as recordings go but, because there is so much content lots of good
bands will never be heard.
10.Why with the thousands
of options including netflix , sporting events everything on demand
Why do you think people
should take the time to listen to what you have to say in your music?
because
were better!
11.How do you feel about
pay to play? Do you think it is fair for a band to have to pay money to play?
Never done it. We've all
played gigs for next to nothing just to be heard but never paid.
12.It is fact that you
are the talent and the entertainment explain what you think is the most
important key to success?
believing
in yourself your product and creativity and lots of perseverance.
13.In country music and
even in some cases rock music is written and performed by different people
would your band perform a song written by someone else?
if
it's a great song that is taylored towards the band why not?
14.If you are pro female
in music are you pro using sex to sell your music?
sex
and music have had a relationship since the beginning.
15.What is your view on
the lawsuits against people saying lewd or unprofessional things to women or
men and how does that affect an art described as sex drugs and rock n roll ?
What's
lewd to you may not be to us and has nothing to do with music. That's why there
are assholes, or is that opinins?

bit. What is your favorite band of all time and why?
Wow,
you mean after Hollowed Human? The list it too long, John, Paul, Ringo and
George.

doing if you were not in a band?
